Beefy Macaroni

Filling. Easy. Comfort. Delicious.

{All ways to best describe this Beefy Mac! }

What You'll Need:

 8 ounces elbow macaroni, uncooked
1/4 cup chopped onion
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/4 cup butter
1/2 tsp pepper
1 pound ground beef
2 bay leaves
1 can diced tomatoes
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Here's How:

1. Cook macaroni in boiling salted water according to the package directions.

2. In a large saucepan, combine a pinch of salt, onion, garlic, butter, pepper, ground beef, bay leaf, and stewed tomatoes.
Cook slowly for 20 minutes; stir in 1 1/2 cups of cheddar cheese.

3. Spoon half of the cooked, drained macaroni into a 2-quart dish. Top with the cooked meat mixture, then the remaining macaroni and the last bit of cheese.

4. Bake, uncovered, at 350* for 30 minutes.
